The life of a runner, mother, radiopharmacist and vicar's wife – that's me!

A day of rest

Being as it’s a Sunday, it’s very difficult to get out for a run. Such is the life of a vicar’s wife. So basically, I’ve set Sunday aside as a rest day from running rather than struggling to squeeze a run in sometime in an already busy day. It also gives us more valuable family time together between services.

Today we took the opportunity to go down to the Play Port soft play area. The kids had a great time and Daniel is getting the hang of getting around on his own – although he still wants our help.

We really must teach him to go down the slide on his backside rather than his front.

The kids insisted on have Slushy drinks although I’m not 100% sure that they are all that healthy.

Can anything that colour actually be good for you?

At least the walk along the promenade was a bit more healthy.

And the sun even came out after a miserable morning where even I had to wear my hat to church.
